CNC Trimming

We offer a comprehensive range of standard GEISS CNC trimming machines suitable for trimming, routing and finishing. Wherever high performance CNC trimming is required Geiss is able to provide numerous solutions to a wide range of application needs. The equipment can be used in a variety of environments processing materials from plastic and wood to composite materials and light aluminium making them suitable for all industry sectors.

The machines can be enhanced during construction with a variety of different table configurations to suit customer applications. In addition it is possible to operate with 2 Z-axes for the simultaneous trimming of two components or for the machine to be designed for the production and finishing of aluminium tooling and moulds. The machines are supplied with an open table for easy swarf collection, which is available in a variety of different configurations: rotary, fixed, sliding and twin bed.

Linear drives are used for higher speeds and a comprehensive list of optional equipment such as a tool changer, tool making equipment etc. are also available. CNC equipment can also be ordered with Ultrasound cutting units for finishing of specialist applications such as cutting break lines into airbags etc.

Geiss Horizontal Bandsaws

To compliment their range of equipment Geiss also manufacture Horizontal Bandsaws. Like their other ranges, the Bandsaws are produced in many sizes and can be supplied with various optional extras.

Bandsaws are mainly used for general cutting or separating of multiple mouldings and are the ideal piece of complimentary equipment to be used in the product transition from Vacuum Forming to CNC Trimming machine.
